Available sensors located on the front and rear of the vehicle can identify obstructions around the vehicle while the vehicle is in motion and display them on the Mazda Connect™ screen. Audible and visual alerts will then notify the driver as the distance to the obstacle decreases.⁸

For this available feature, cameras positioned around the vehicle’s exterior create a 360° view visible on the Mazda Connect™ screen to give drivers a greater awareness of their surroundings when navigating small spaces or parking.⁹

When reversing at low speeds, this available feature can provide automatic emergency braking in addition to the audible and visible alerts of Rear Cross Traffic Alert when an imminent collision with vehicles crossing from either side is detected.¹⁰
